These days, I'm also poking around the so-called "AI" space (yes, I know, the most overused buzzword on the planet), with a particular focus on:
- Fine-tuning models
- Building agentic automations & workflows
- Gluing tools together so they actually do something useful end-to-end
The Day Job
My background sits somewhere at the intersection of:
- Cloud architecture - designing and running systems that don't fall over the moment traffic shows up
- DevOps & automation - CI/CD, infra as code, and all the "let the robots do it" bits
- Infrastructure engineering - networks, servers, storage, observability, and the boring but important foundations
If it runs in production, needs high uptime, and has a lot of moving parts, it's probably my kind of problem.
Why AI, why now?
I'm not here to sell AI as magic. I'm exploring where it can actually save time, money, or sanity — and calling it out when it's just hype. Expect experiments that focus on making models behave predictably in real systems and using AI to automate workflows, rather than just chatting with bots.
Expect some experiments, some failures, and the occasional "this actually worked" moment.
When I'm not staring at logs
Outside of terminals and dashboards, I'm into:
- Cars - from engineering details to long drives for no good reason
- Travel - new places, new food, and getting lost on purpose
- Tech - tools, gadgets, platforms, and the odd over-engineered setup
- Music - usually in the background while I'm breaking or fixing something
Why I'm Writing This
This space is mainly for:
- Brain dumps - ideas, sketches, half-baked concepts
- Notes & discoveries - things I've learned the hard way and don't want to forget
- Experiments - especially around AI, automation, and infra
- Write-ups - when something turns out to be worth documenting properly
I'm not trying to be a "content creator." I just want a place to park my thoughts, reference them later, and maybe save someone else a few hours of debugging.
If any of this helps you avoid a production incident, a dead end, or a bad idea - that's a win.
Say hi
If you've got similar interests - infra, DevOps, AI, cars, or just weird technical rabbit holes do feel free to reach out.
In the meantime, enjoy the chaos, experiments, and occasional useful post that lands here.
